Fortress Of The Bear an educational bear rescue center located in Sitka, Alaska. We bring orphaned bears from all over the state of Alaska and find homes for them in zoos and sanctuaries internationally.  We currently have 8 resident orphaned bears in 3 separate enclosures.  These enclosures mimic the natural settings that they would normally be found.  Visitors view from above in a covered area and have the opportunity to observe and photographic their continuous antics.

Most of our designs are created and produced right here in Sitka by our own staff. As often as possible, we incorporate our own bears into our designs.

As a non-profit 501(c) 3, we truly appreciate your support. All proceeds are used to help care for our bears and improve our facilities.

Original art work from our Curator who painted each of our bears. We created mugs for you to enjoy. These ceramic 15oz mug is a nice mug to enjoy your morning coffee with.

Raspberry mug is 11oz offering a smaller option. This design is done by the founders granddaughter.
